I always get stressed at the thought of having to hang a picture on a wall, and so I decided to channel that in a story. It’s like my brain explodes with all the things that could go wrong. Do I have the right hanging fixtures? What if it’s crooked? Have I accounted for the tensile strength of the string? What if I don’t like it there?

Music brought friends together, in the car, at parties, and at concerts. Scratches were the devil and the repeat button was a godsend.
